The Life of Reilly, the filmed production of Charles Nelson Reilly's one man show was presented at the Maltz Jupiter Theater, the former Burt Reynolds Theater, where Mr. Reilly was Master Teacher, and where ActTrue first worked with this generous and inspiring artist.

ActTrue in LA!!!

The ActTrue Los Angeles Workshop in Ojai, CA, was a great success with 22 actors and educators discovering the power of Actions and the clarity of the Hagen Process. The beautiful Matilija Campus/Ojai was our home for two days as we investigated the connection 'tween Imagery and Action through Spolin Improvs, Camera Audition Tech and the proven professional technique of the Hagen Process.

The Workshop raised funds for the Maestro Arts Organization and we are proud to announce we've been invited back to present Master Classes, Spring/2008. And, ActTrue met with and has been invited to develop Master Classes for the Spring/Summer/2008 at both the Besant School/Ojai

A full stage of actors, from LA Teen Sitcoms and films, high school drama programs and high school acting teachers worked together testing the Truth of Action vs. Feelings.

"Thank you so much for flying across the country to teach us young students who have a dream in performing arts. I learned so much from your teaching in two days. Because of you I now know what to expect from the real world and professionals, like yourself, in performing arts and music. Since the workshop, I have been keeping an open mind full of images and ideas to improve my skills in speaking and confidence. Now, if there is an audition, instead of having second thoughts, I will go for it...thank you for taking the time in teaching the methods of the legendary Uta Hagen."

Meagan Sanders, Workshop Actor, Ojai, CA

and one of Los Angeles' most respected Equity Theaters, The Rubicon Theater/Ventura

ActTrue is very proud and privileged to share our work with new generations of actors. It is an honor to pass on the teachings of our Master Teachers Uta Hagen and Charles Nelson Reilly. Their life's work lives on in Imagery in Action, in the discovery and passion of each actor searching for the Truth in each moment, the power in each action they take, each audience they touch through their unique creativity.

...this man is an artist ...he will radicalize your thoughts about acting"

ActTrue in LA!!!

What an exciting, challenging, and promising trip to LA!!!! I coached LA ActTrue Actors, watched classes taught by top industry agents, scheduled an October/2007 LA ActTrue Workshop, and developed future workshops in Santa Barbara and Ojai. As soon as I arrived I headed straight for Hollywood where. I coached an LA ActTrue client for the CBS-TV show NUMB3RS at the Los Angeles Center Studios downtown LA, which is right around the corner from...

...the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at the renowned Music Center where I spent five years presenting the Joffrey, Kirov, Baryshnikov, ABT and ROCKETTES dance companies.
I had a lunch meeting with LA ActTrue Actors Pat Battistini and Danny Murphy to develop a Teen Workshop in Santa Clarita, just north of Burbank. Pat just wrote and directed a short film with comedy star Ben Stiller. Dan can be seen in the films KINGPIN, SOMETHING ABOUT MARY and ME, MYSELF, AND IRENE Article on Dan
And I also coached LA ActTrue Actor Andrea Conte on the play BUS STOP. Andrea now studies at the prestigious Beverly Hills Playhouse. During the coaching on the scene Marilyn Monroe made famous, Andrea said, "How do you see all these things? Why aren't you teaching out here?"
