ActTrue World!!! What
an exciting week for me as I stepped into a whole new stage
of my work as a teacher. A stage that you, my clients, have
revealed to me by being open to my work in your lives. |

I opened
the Speaking
With Power Conference and for international recognized
motivational speaker Les
Brown and just days later presented two workshops at the
Broward Convention Center for the Personal
Power & Business Expo. The schedule there was filled
with the top motivational speakers in the country including
Les Brown,
Lisa
Jimenez, Cynthia
Kersey, Randy
Gage and Marshall

I look

ActTrue and
Big Fish Talent have added a second level workshop to our Acting
Intensive Weekend in Denver, Oct. 18 - 23. We'll be doing a two
day/all day weekend and two evenings of the very exciting Duos and
Trios Structured Improvs based on the Hagen Exercises with the advanced
Big Fish clients. Every wonder where you lines come from? "Need!"
And these Duos and Trios reveal that need immediately and implicitely.

- OCEAN AVENUE TELENOVELA #1
OCEAN
AVENUE, the Miami based European market Telenovela, is the
#1 show in its time slot in Sweden!
I am very
proud to be a part of this successful American/European co-production
as the on-set rehearsal coach for a number of the starring
actors. It has been so exciting to guide young actors in the
creation of active, interesting, human characters, to pass
on a process that supports Truthful Human Behavior within
such a fast paced shooting schedule. Their daily acting challenges
encompass the greatest extremes of emotion and action and
have been met with enthusiasm, courage and now, technique.
And cast members now study with me in my Ft. Lauderdale and
Miami classes in addition to the on-set coaching. That is
a great compliment to both actor and teacher.
My congratulations
to the producers, writers, technicians, and actors who work
so hard to make this project a success.

Actress Nicole Henry in musical rehearsals
Nicole
is now working on the Philip Michael Thomas/Sandi Morais musical
"Sacha & the Magic Cookie Maker", and just finished shooting
the 2nd episode for The Lemonade Stand, a 4-part TV (pilot)
that teaches children, ages 6-12, good money values. She plays
the good conscience, Penny Princess.

Talent in Denver has invited me back for my third Weekend Workshop.
I am proud to be a part of the growing professional acting market
there. I also have the honor of presenting the first ActTrue
Award to the actor in the Denver market whose work exemplifies

I've just
returned from a very successful ten day business trip to Los
Angeles, presenting my RoadWorkshop Weekend Acting Intensive
at the Bitter Truth Theatre in LA's NoHo Arts District.
My clients
included many new LA actors recommended by Miami and LA agents,
as well as former Miami students Pat
Battistini, Kumi Shirasaki and Dan
Murphy, as well as actress/Latin TV personality Iran Daniel.

Leong and Magda Hernandez
surprised my by flying in for my LA workshop, with Magda flying
in from a Utah location commercial shoot.

I have been
asked back to present another ActTrue RoadWorkshop in August in
preparation for the season. We are putting together that workshop,
NOW!
I met with members
of both the Meisner
Center, for whom I have directed their dedication festival,
and the head of the Florida
Project/LA, Hildie Garcia. Through these meetings I have been
invited to direct a showcase and a one woman show in Los Angeles.
And I coached
a young actress for the lead in a TV show for Mathews Mgt., the
theatrical division of McGhee Entertainment Inc., which handles
such rock artists as KISS, BON JOVI and HOOTIE
AND THE BLOWFISH.

Korea-Japan 2002. She will be "THE Reporter of Entertainment"

Telenovela Rehearsal Coach - OCEAN AVENUE: It
is such a pleasure to be working with the cast of Miami TV production:
OCEAN AVENUE. I rehearse actors in preparation for their next shoot
by investigating the script based on the Hagen Six Steps and applying
the Ten Object Exercises to the action/intention of the scenes.
The actors, from LA, Canada, Sweden and Florida are so enthusiastic
and it is a joy to work with them.

Dancesations,
Inc., an interactive entertainment company for
corporate special events, invited me to write and host their
dance spectacle at the RADISSON DEAUVILLE HOTEL in Miami Beach,
April 6. World champion dance teams perform, compete and present
workshops at the IHSC
Festival.
The show
is directed/choreographed by Arte Phillips, winner of the
"Gypsy of the Year" (Best of Broadway) has performed on
Broadway in Tommy Tune's GRAND HOTEL, VICTOR VICTORIA with
Julie Andrews, ONCE UPON A MATTRESS with Sarah Jessica Parker,
SWING and the original workshop of "FOSSE". He has choreographed
for Broadway musicals and top recording stars.
Maria
Torres, from the Broadway production of SWING, Radio City's
"Spring Extravaganza", the Public Theatre's "The Skin of Our
Teeth", and featured in the film "Dance with Me", judged
and performed.
Katie
Marlow and Billy Fajardo, World Hustle Champions produced
and starred.
It is
an honor to work with such creative artists.

with numbers from 42nd STREET, WEST SIDE STORY and CHORUS LINE.

in Downtown Miami - In response to the demand from actors in
the Miami/Miami Beach area for classes "closer to home",
ActTrue will present classes in the Design District at In
Motion Studio North, voted the best dance studio in Miami by
New Times Magazine. Classes begin Feb. 20 through March 27, 2002.

2, 3, 2002 - Hard Rock: Universal, Orlando:

I designed
the lights and stage managed a hip hop/Latin/swing dance show
for a national corporate event at the Hard Rock Theater at Universal
Studios' City Walk. |
The show, produced
by Dancesations,
Inc., starred US and World champion Latin, Hustle and Ballroom
dancers. The finest dancers and performers. Sixteen minutes of nonstop,
driving, pulsing, leaping, spinning dance magic under the Aurora
Borealis of rock and roll lights to building shaking salsa/techno/swing
music. We had just three hours of tech rehearsal on the Hard Rock
stage to adjust to the space, and for me to design the lights, build
cues and run through the show. Very exciting project. Especially
working with the incredible technology of rock and roll concert
lights. Anything and everything is possible with these fabulous
devices.
